Results of my private war, in pictures (and a TEDx video), because no one likes to read too much these days.

It’s in May 2019. After 18 months of being on the Interpol Red Notice list, the Global Police removes my files from the system and admits that the Notice should be never put by Nigerian Police in the first place, as there was no basis for it.

Both arrest warrants from Nigeria have been struck down by Nigeria’s own justice system — by the Federal Court, Reason? Lack of evidence and diligent prosecution.

May 2019. The polish attorney general has revoked the Nigerian extradition request due to a lack of evidence.

Nigerian Newspaper that published the libel of David Hundeyin, fires him and issues apologies. Since being attacked in a published hit-piece by the self-styled “investigative journalist” David Hundeyin, I have initiated libel proceedings against him. Although court-papers were duly served, he has repeatedly evaded correspondence and failed to engage in the litigation, causing delays. Meanwhile the legal process nevertheless remains live and moving forward. My claim is that he was paid by third parties to carry out a coordinated smear campaign, rather than acting as a bona-fide investigative reporter, and the broader context of his record supports serious concerns about his credibility.

BusinessDay, which also published David’s libel against me, issues an apology.

Recently the High Court in London issued a decisive judgment in a defamation case involving journalist Charles Northcott and writer David Hundeyin. The court found that Hundeyin had published serious and entirely false allegations about Northcott including claims of sexual misconduct abuse of power and professional dishonesty.
Hundeyin did not defend his article in court yet continued promoting it online. The judge ruled that the allegations were fabricated malicious and extremely damaging to Northcott’s reputation as a long standing BBC investigative journalist. The court awarded ninety thousand pounds in damages plus a permanent injunction requiring Hundeyin to stop repeating the claims and to remove the article.
The judgment is clear. Publishing explosive accusations without evidence has consequences. Repeating them publicly only increases liability. This ruling formally and fully vindicates Charles Northcott and confirms that the allegations against him were false.

Alright, this is a cheesy one but I couldn’t help it.
Dear former friends and business partners turned enemies, turned life teachers. Dear everyone that didn’t wish me well. Thank you for what you made me go through, for what I have learned and for who I have become along the way.
